It is possible to have more than 2 items equipped? Normally, you have two items, which use to be the sword and an item, but since the release of the betas, you can now have two items equipped. How about having 4 or 3 items equipped? Can it be done?

No.

Not normal items anyway.

Think it might be possible via scripting?

To me this sounds like something that would have to be hard coded into a beta, and with the new feature freeze on the betas due to the effort to get a completely stable build out, I don't see this happening for quite some time. It might be possible with scripting but even if it is, I don't really see a point in doing it as you don't really need to have both the A and B items selectable and being able to cycle through your items using the hotkeys during play kind of renders having multiple items available at once somewhat unnecessary. On top of that, to my knowledge there are no enemies that require two items other than the sword used simultaneously to be dispatched unless a custom boss was done that required that. An interesting idea if it could be implemented, but again unless it's designed as a program feature to me it would not be worth the trouble to script.....

Pfft Gleeok.

Yes it is.

You just have to have completely custom scripted items set to the other keys.
You wouldn't be able to switch them round either, unless you perhaps had 'L' as another item key, and 'R' as a 'scroll through items' key.

If you did that, you could, say, script a load of magic spells which use 'L', and have 'R' to cycle through them.

However, you couldn't do it conventionally though, not with 'real' items, nothing would be hard-coded.

Which would definately be interesting, but would also be quite a lot of effort.

^ that is sort of what I have been wanting to do. But what I was think is have "current item/select able for L and R key)
So to say you can select scrolls and or jump with either "L" or"R"

Scrolls?
Like the ones that give you more sword attacks?
They're all passive, why'd you need to select them? icon_confused2.gif

And jumping with R is quite easy to do really.
