I got an idea for one of my dungeons that involves keeping the moving as much as they can to stay safe. How? A chasing-beamo-robot...thing.

If you have played Sonic Adventure 2, you might remember there being a large beetle robot circling around the level Egg Quarters. That's pretty much my inspiration for this script. In Egg Quarters, the player can hide from the robot by staying under shade. I don't really need that. The robot is meant to move in the set path around the entire dungeon, hovering over everything like Layer 6 and is immune to all weapons. However, the way it's meant to detect the player is to come in sight like how a Beamos or Homing Fireball would. So think of this like a Moving Beamos/Fire Shooter. I assume this an Enemy/Global script, and hopefully it can work. I haven't messed with an Enemy/Global script mind you, but if you have any questions of what other attribute it should have, let me know.

It'd be an autoghost script, but I'm not at all versed in that source material. Making it chase the payer with an AI that isn't terribly cheap would be a challenge.

I can give you the updated Dalek script (that MoscowModder created), for laser-shooting enemies, but making a custom mmovement AI is a bit out of my league for the present. You'd need to be extremely specific with regard to desired behaviour.

The Dalek code is essentially, a walking beamos enemy. You can assign it to any enemy, with any in-built movement type, if that'd accomplish your desired results.
