This is a short Christmas quest that is the prequel of Ballad of a Bloodline. The main character is Myra, you have three dungeons to beat in any order then a final dungeon where you can have two different endings depending on how you play. Enemies and items are custom, some of them are handdrawn. There are 3 custom bosses.
Bad ending: Be manipulative.
Good ending: Have a hawk's eye.

Some items of Christmas:
Christmas powder: Makes things shiny. Shiny things might activate big secrets!
Icicle: Untrained for swords? Use icicle then.
Donut: Soldiers, reploids and drunkards can be bribed well with it.
Decoration ladder: Usually used to put decorations on the Christmas tree, but you can cross gaps with it, too...
Old flute: Evil things break upon its melody.
Cube: Summons lightning.
Sphere: Turns rupees into arrows.
Tethrahedron(pyramid): Summons grappling hook.
And there's much more!

Beasts of the underworld:
Icefly: Butterflies that are attracted to cold.
Mimic: If you think it's a chest, you die.
Elder mimic: If you think it's a big chest, you die.
Living ice: A shard of ice crystal that has its own life.
Charmed baulbs: They float at you together or invidually.
Nautilus: They are attracted to power, so you most likely find them as bodyguards of a high rank creature.
Metroid larva: These pests turn Kokiri into Skullkid. Don't let them grapple on you.
Ghost fragment: Went crazy from almost fading from existence, this freak charges at anything that moves... or not.
Light spirit: These are attracted to light, so you most likely find them near some powerful light source.
Goriya wizard: After getting bored of the boomerang, they learned to use magic.
Mana leever: The magical variations of the usual sand leevers.
Mine: They fly with high speed, you can harm them only when they get tired and stop for a little time.
Manafly: They are attracted to heights, use an item to cut their wings off, so they fall.
Shellball: You can't harm it from the front, unless you can break through golden armour.
Winged gargoyle: They arrived from a distant land and now gathering in the underworld.
Armstrong: Lives in walls and grabs those whos get too close.

And now... CHEESE!

CC, I found a bug. The warp at the sign south of the town takes you to a black screen.

Edit: Actually, are you supposed to be able to leave town?

Uhm... You are supposed to leave town only to the east... If you leave town to south, you find the shards of Ballad of a Bloodline with many bugs, probably some even crashes your ZC... How can you leave to south, aren't there two darknuts?! icon_eek.gif

*checks*

Well, the Darknuts are there. Are you sure you are playing this on 2.10 or 2.10.1 or 2.10.2? You have everything that you need in town, leving to the east is just a little extra... icon_naughty.gif

Well, I left town at the east side and from there went to the south part. If you exit the town and then go one screen up, you see something I don't think you're supposed to see yet.

Hmmm... When you exit to the east, you aren't supposed to go any further: there are invsible stairs combos that take you to a scene then you return to the village... I wonder what's wrong, might be "linked stairs" rule is unchecked? Still, just don't go far from the town in that screen...

Can't figure out how to get to Level 4, or find the icicle upgrade. And that's even with the help from...someone...

There is no icicle upgrade. Why you thought there was?
As for Level 4, if you have all three gray items (so you have beaten all three dungeons) use the Tetrahedron on the giant mound of snow at southeast.

Ok, done! Got both endings and all upgrades. Found a few layer problems but nothing extreme. The ice dungeon was sooo cool looking! Overall I'd give it a 4/5, nice game to sit down and play.

Well, for stair warps, you need to be completely on the combo to be warped anywhere, so that could be the problem. Where's the third dungeon? On that screen?

Third dungeon? It depends. Which was the first two you beat?
Blue: In the shop that sellsthe red female clothe, go right through the southeast corner.
Red: In Anja's house. (Northeast screen.)
Green: Knil's house.

This is also the difficulty order, or at least I made them in this order.

It really worths to get the good ending, too. Especially if you want to play Ballad of a Bloodline with some extra background information.

Also, I might have placed a green portal instead a blue, too. The one that leads to Apathetic should be the blue.

I beat it and found the good ending icon_biggrin.gif
It was very fun, better than "Hyrule's Halloween" It was longer, more challengeing and I loved the themes, and also the humour was quite good too icon_lol.gif

I give it a 5!

Well CastChaos, you're very creative, but some of your ideas are slightly creepy! (I'm talking about some of the dungeons)
