Ok, I have been going over this in my head for a few days now and I was wondering when making blue and red switches that operate blue and red pillers, do I need to make 2 maps identical and when link hits The switch it insta-teleports him to a map where the pillars are different and the color changes on the switch or is this easier to do in 2.55?

Much easier: https://www.purezc.n...=scripts&id=318

Alternatively, if for some reason you wanted up to 8 different colored barriers: https://www.purezc.n...=scripts&id=328

I mean, the non-scripting solution is definitely not multiple maps. It's tiered secrets and screen state carryovers (though you might still want scripts to make that permanent or whatever).
