Anyways, some comments:

Teilyr: Admire my drawing skills? Heh, I guess it's true that people shoot down their own work

System Error: As much as I hate the Pure tileset, that alone shouldn't be a basis for discounting a shot.

PolygonX8: Yes, life bars are becoming a lot more common. I just hope it doesn't get too widespread before Royal heart is released. Personally, I think my life bar's too big, but then again, read my response to Teilyr

Blonde: FS Link doesn't go with that graphics system.

That's not Four Swords Link. That's a custom made Link I put together, with no inspiration, or resources taken from The Legend of Zelda:Four Swords.

Even not knowing this, my friends give me more credit than that, because they know I can whip up almost anything(made some spider tiles for phil a while back, phil liked 'em supposedly).

Can someone please explain to me why my shots are always bland?

I've gotten this more than enough times, but I still don't know what makes them bland.

I kinda wanted to know why.

Noone ever tells me why my shots suck so much. If I knew why, maybe I could *GASP* improve on them. But no, noone ever tells me why and I get smart remarks like this when I ask. I guess it's just because I made it.

I don't think your screenies suck, and they aren't even bland, but why I don't like them is that they are too basic. Whenever I look at your pics, the feeling "I've seen this before" comes. . If you would add some new tiles and... well it's tough to explain with my not so good English skills.
But simply said, your shots look pretty, but they are boring (and this is just my opinion).

Oh, and don't let other people's comments upset you.

Like I've said before, people have opinions. I know hardly anyone thinks my shots are teh bomb, but that's their opinion, varied as it is, which is something they're entitled to.

Nick: Perhaps it's psychological with me. Since I actually beta tested that area, I've seen that shot plus about 17 others similar to it. That's why I don't particularly enjoy overworld shots. Of course, I didn't vote so I guess what I say doesn't really matter. Oh, and I can say with a fact that your overworld shots are MUCH prettier than mine
