Mine's a JPG too, but since Pokemon's Graphics aren't so detailed anyway, it's hard to tell.

If you upload bmps to Photobucket it automatically converts them to jpgs. Best to use gif format for screenshots, or pngs if you have some unwarranted hatred for gifs.
