Thanks, man!

I know some of those projects that have kind of disappeared over the years lol.

I was hoping to address that by approaching it as simply as a mash-up.

For right now, I've got my overworld and dungeon plans on paper only, but all the mechanics are concepted out, now its just about learning ZC well enough to put all of that info (even scripted stuff) in one place.

Thats where all my effort is right now. I'm not worried about enemies yet, bosses, individual puzzles, etc. Yet.

I'm just trying to piece together a Zelda quest from as many of its best ideas as possible, but then give that frankenstein a new polish.

Shields from TP
Swords from WW, done like LttP, upgraded like SS.
Nonlinear like z1, not optional like BotW, but in tiers like LttP and OoT. Non-linear exploration, with a linear central story like SS should have done. You get the master sword just like in LttP, OoT, but mostly Wind Waker, then Four Elements from MC (because Aristotle), but examined in a BotW way, hence the "waterbending" Nayru's love, set in ST's "four corners" overworld. I'm sticking close to the Mark Brown graphs for dungeons, and the story is a blend of WW's first half and Skyward Sword's last half, but in its own continuity.

Its simple, in my head. I can pull all of that info up off the top of my head just from being a Zelda fan... so its not hard to stay focused.

Its just ZQuest thats frustrating, but way, way less frustrating than learning to code from scratch to use Solarus or Game Maker.

Plus, I like you guys. You're all super nice and helpful. I'm grateful you're all here or I'd have given up on this a long time ago.

And I don't really talk about it much, but my body isn't in the best condition, so I don't have much to worry about in terms of time, a job or social life apart from my family.

...Okay, time may be an issue, but if I don't complete the quest, it won't be because I gave up on it, unfortunately.

The scene in Avatar where Aang and the Ocean Spirit decimate the Fire Nation attack on the Northern Water Tribe. That's my Nayru's Love.

Honestly, the reason I'm so open about the collaborative effort is that even though you guys would love it, too... I'm making this quest to teach my daughter about a world I grew up in.
