I get that quite often. Though I won't be able to explain it better if I don't know what makes no sense. I pretty much tried to say the same like Shoshon the Elegant but added various reasons that for me personally ruin a otherwise good quest somewhat. It really sucks to be a real life Butters...

Yeah but, Butters is one of the best characters.

Professor Chaos is the best thing to ever happen to South Park.

Your post made sense to me, though.

Annnd to keep this on topic: I'm honestly fine with whatever as long as it's well crafted and internally consistent about what its doing.

I generally find I prefer the non-traditional types of quest most. If I'm breaking out ZC, it's likely because I've got a couple hours to kill. And even then, that's only here and there and that could change at the drop of a hat...While I do thoroughly enjoy a good story-driven or traditional quest, it's hard for me to stay invested if I sometimes go weeks without playing. I come back only to have forgotten where I am, what I was doing, etc. Non-traditional quests generally have that flare of originality without needing to remember what's going on in the world; and, when time is limited, they're often a bit shorter and/or easier to digest than 8 or 9 dungeons of puzzles.
