Today was my birthday, but the only real thing that happened was some girls ( one of which i used to know and her friends ) sang happy birthday to me for no apperent reason... No candy ... I tryed to bargin our schools ala carte to get a discount but as most lunchladys, she stood strong. Luckly next week is teacher vaction day or something like that however so we a 4 day VACTION!
(thank god) I was wondering what happens when you have a birthday? Anything special?

Well, nowadays.. most of my birthdays consist of getting a cake and maybe a present. And being a year older. Not much.

Happy Birthday, ZC-Ninja. Hey guys, you're not answering the thread. Now to answer your question I'm going to tell you two birthday stories of my own experience:

-=My 17th Birthday=-
Well, when I turned 17, one of my friends let me have a party at his huge house, which was so better than my tiny apartment. There, we ate cake, played games, I got presents and it was fun. I also dated 5-7(I don't remember the specific #) girls in one night(don't be too awed, each date was about 15 minutes a piece ;P) and they took me a concert at a church. It was a pretty sweet night. Did I mention I got to wear a crown that evening?

-=My 18th Birthday=-
Well, my 18th birthday wasn't turning out so special. It appeared that I would just be spending the night with my parents and even though they had been both out of work for months, they still got me some gifts. I kinda felt guilty taking these things from them since I would have preferred that they save the money. Then my friend, the same one who let me hold the party at his house the previous year, called me and said he wanted to come over. I agreed and he came over to my house within 45 minutes. I was wondering why it took him so long when the doorbell rang and my friend walked in.... with about 6-7 other friends from our high school and a cake. I was very surprised and happy to see them. After eating and chatting we watched UHF. Now that was a good birthday as well.

Now as I approach my 19th birthday, I wonder what I'm going to do? Oh well, can't think about it now, I gotta get through Halloween first.

Man... my last birthday (I'm 17) was one of the oddest I've ever had. I got a couple "happy birthday"s from my family in the morning, then I went to school (it was a Friday) and completely forgot until 3PM that it actually was my birthday. The office usually sends out birthday cards to all students and whatnot in their homerooms, but I didn't get mine until a week or two later. I got home to unwrap my... presents... which were all gift cards to places like Barnes & Noble. But I had to leave almost immediately because I was in the school musical that night. So all through that spectacle, I managed to forget again that it was my birthday.

We all went out to Chili's afterward, and by now it was around 11:00. Sometime around midnight I remembered what day it was and mentioned it to someone. All of a sudden, the whole waiting staff was at my table, singing some bastardized version of the song. And clapping. They gave me a little bowl of ice cream. Then around 12:30, people started going home, and I got a ride from someone else. I get home at around 1:00 and sleep until 1:00 that afternoon.

Oh... the question. Nothing spectacular ever goes on with my birthday's, but my past one (16) was decent in the end, but could've been much better earlier if it hadn't been for some issues...

<PolygonX8> The 5... actually it was $60 was all I really wanted.
<PolygonX8> 10 to reserve MP2, then the 50 to buy it on the day it is released.
<PolygonX8> So I could make sure I get it and not wait forever to finally get a copy.

Yep... Birthdays i guess only really last from B-day to 12... Ah well... My party is about to happen this thursday. Gonna have 4 friends come over to a place called CTF ( Capture the Frag, basicaly, 5$ per hour, expt if yoyu have membership/wearing on of thier shirts, and they got 16 comps hooked up. For me this is big cause the only comp hooked up in my moms house is a Imac that cant run S^!$ ) And then im just gonna hook up as many game systems as possible to 3 tvs and were just gonna play games all night... fun fun!
