Description:

 

Link now has 6 moral compasses. However, his path is being blocked by a mysterious magic barrier in Snowver World. Link's quest takes him to the Hall of Wizardry, a mysterious place full of Wizzrobes. Deep within, Link finds a new sword called the Great Fairy Sword. This sword is the key to breaking the barrier. Behind the barrier Link finds the Ancients' Stair. What lies below these mysterious ruined stairway?

Link enters the Tablet Factory to learn from old man Manhandalaha that this used to be the supplier of his old tablets before he went with a competing company. Manhandalaha tells Link there is an item in the factory that Link can use to control the machinery. The item turns out to be the flute which controls the cranes which can grab and carry tablets and even Link himself to allow him to access new rooms and areas. Link pursues through the Factory looking for his next moral compass.

In case nobody has noticed. I decided to no longer share my Lets Plays in these types of topics anymore. That's not the purpose of these topics and it's simply creating unnecessary clutter and distractions from the purpose of these topics.

 

When talking to Moosh, he disagreed with my point of view feeling it was more or less a good thing for the topic. But I decided to still go with my own decision on this and will keep Lets Plays where Lets Plays belong. I'm the only one that doesn't do this, and that made me realize that it was inappropriate for me to continue doing what I was doing.

 

It kinda breaks Rule #9 in a small way as this is a "quest discussion topic" not a "another place to share your lets play videos" topic. So ya, I am finished with sharing my Lets Plays here. Sorry if this disappoints anybody.

So let's talk speedruns. I just tried one for the heck of it. Final time was 2:10. That's not at all optomized though; I was poorly prepared for levels 7 and had to leave twice cuz of oversights in my planning. Also doesn't count maybe ten minutes of retrying to Blue Birdphone. 50% item completion. Final inventory below:



Anyone wanna try for a better score?

Edit: Oh, I should probably mention, this was Standard Mode. Legacy might be faster. Not sure if the mirror shield could be skipped there, I'd need to check. Also I fond a continue point bug in level 5 during this run so that was cool.
