AFAIK, there're five keys and three locks in the dungeon as of now.

Changelog:

  • Improved the transformation locations in Level 2... which were coincidentally all in screens I made.
  • Nerfed the L1 Minimentus step speed. I get that whoever buffed them set it to match when I buffed Minimentus Link's step speed, but it made them way too fast for where they are. Hopefully they should remain this way.

So my current plan for this is as follows. Feel free to ignore if you have a better idea, or even if not:

- Screen above is a puzzle which requires you to be a Minimentus. That activates secrets on the screen below.

- Screen to the left is a puzzle which requires you to be Link. You need to solve it on the right side to be able to pass from the left. I forget if there's a Zol transformation up here, but if so, it would have to be in this screen too.

made a basement room next to the one lut made.

 since there was water in the upper floor i figure water could play a small part in the basement as well at least to connect a few passageways so you would have to have the fins to go through it partially. really digging the asthetic of the transparent layer makes it feel a bit dangerous.

Not entirely functional yet, since I don't know how to make the little holes work, but it's there.

 

I think L2's almost done. Though we still need a couple keys, and we were considering adding another item for the top left of the level.

So what exactly is the transformation function? Do you use a script to have an item turn you into a monster? And does transforming into said monster allow you to get through certain obstacles such as the tiny holes?

You turn into a monster, and can use said monster's abilities to solve puzzles. Gel/Split Zol can go into small holes and hide in shadows, Minimentus can breathe fire, goriya can throw boomerangs accurately, and rope lets you charge fast. ...Rope is kinda bad.

 

There's setup instructions in the discord IIRC. You can set a script to cause a variety of things to trigger it.

I gotchya. Probably gonna avoid getting into making screens that use that for now cause my scripting knowlege hasnt gone past using the signpost script lol.
