Okay, I know that betas are not allowed in the quest database. That was made pretty clear.

But, I have seen betas in the quest database! For example, 1.92b182 and 183 seem fairly popular... can anybody give my any clarification on this? I'm trying to pinpoint the most stable, legal version to begin making my quest...

1.92 b183 is by far the most stable version of ZC ever in it's history (as far as I know). However, it lacks A LOT of features that 2.11 b 254 has, and 254 is 2nd in place of most stable ZC ever. 2.11 B16c is also very stable, as is b10.

I thought 2.11 beta 15 was one of the most stable, IMO.

Do you have a beef with 2.10.2? It fixes that crappy MIDI bug... icon_sweat.gif

The 'no betas' rule applies to 2.11 or 2.5 betas, not the 1.92 betas. Basically anything after 2.10 is not allowed. (I'm not sure about 2.10.2)

I'm making my quest in 2.10.2, but it opens in 2.10. So basically, a quest made in 2.10.2 is still essentially just a 2.10 quest. icon_unsettled.gif

EDIT: With the MIDI bug fixed.
