So I have 3 Burning Bushes onscreen:

A- Flag 4 (Burn Trigger, Any) and 94 (Trigger, Self Only)

B- Flag 4 (Burn Trigger, Any) and 94 (Trigger, Self Only)

C- Flag 4 (Burn Trigger, Any) and 94 (Secret Tile 0)

Burning A and B before C works fine, but-

Problem 1: Burning just C makes all bushes burned

Problem 2: Burning A or B and leaving the screen has them all burned when I come back

Am I not setting this up correctly?

Problem 2 is because ZC only uses a single secret state per screen - that is, screen secrets are either triggered, or not triggered, so no matter what kind of secret triggers you set up, triggering one sets the screen's secret state to triggered, and every secret on the screen will display as triggered every time you visit the screen, even if one's a burn bush, one's a bomb wall, and one's a wand object. More than one trigger may not always require scripting, but more than one secret state definitely will.

Mhmmm. As for problem one.

From my experience, self-only triggers only don't trigger other triggers. They can still be triggered if you have more secrets on the screen.

Okay I'll just have one of the bushes have a burn flag, the others won't react to fire.

Actually it should work if screen secrets are temporary and there's a stair combo on a background layer to look right (and a stair FFC above it to give it functionality since stairs won't work on the background layer) :)

EDIT: It worked, yay :)
