Hi everyone, I'm using DoR Hybrid.

I'm having an issue where my door combo set shutters are not working. Here's the weird part...they work fine on the first screen I did it on.

However, on the second screen everything works. Link walks through the door, the door close SFX plays, secret sound plays when enemies die, and the door sound replays. However, for some reason the doors do not open or close, like on the first screen. I suspect it has to do with that for some reason, on the second screen the doors are solid in ZQ, but on the first screen they're not.

Can anyone help me?

Try turning those sides into open doors and then back. Walls should also work

As far as I can tell, the way these doors work is that the special doors (i.e. anything that's not open or a wall) are placed on a higher layer (not sure exactly where between the actual layers, but above layer 0. You can hide layer 0 to check that.), whereas the open and wall 'doors' are put on layer 0. Not entirely sure.

But if that were the logic, then how could they have worked in Zelda 1 if there was only one layer in that game?

I'm not sure that's how they necessarily worked in the original. I'm just saying that's how they appear to be implemented in ZC.

I don't know if it was a stupid error on my part, but there was a locked door combo on the first layer for both doors. So it works now at least. Thank you very much, Klop!

No problem.

Yeah, it's easy to accidentally put something underneath those doors. I know I've done it a couple of times.
