What is the Correct Path to get to Level 4?

The hammer can't be bought in its shop: Is it correct or is a bug? I've got 600 coins and 11 lives.

What Level is the Hammer at? And where is Level Four?

That would be the Forgery Hammer. The opening post in this topic says how much HP you need to pick it up.

Level 4 is the campsite to the north. There's a path going up from the forest, about half way in. If you go up from there and work your way right as you go up the mountain, you can explore the campsite, level 4 is at the top of the map there, sort of close to the middle.

How do I get across here? Do I need a longer hookshot? If so, where is it?

You can't cross from that side. But there is a longer hookshot in level 6. You have to do a few things to get into level 6.

1. Talk to Hippolyta in the northwest part of the village, in the house with a lone grave outside.

2. Go through the maze path to get to a screen where you need to use the boomerang.
3. Hit a lever with the boomerang, to make a bridge to the building.

4. If you've talked to Hippolyta they should let you through. (you should have to speak to them first.)

Download the new file.
You were supposed to get it for killing the Cyclops. But for some reason it disappeared from the last file. Despite the fact that I never touched the damn screen.

So check that screen where the cyclops was on the right.

It should open after talking to this guy. You may need to speak to him twice. If that doesn't work, let me know. This was a new addition I tried to add in the middle of my semester, so I haven't had time to test it.
But it should work, since talking to him should activate an invisible secret on screen. Let me know if talking to him twice doesn't work and I'll remove the block myself.

Where is the third sword in the upgrade? I found the flippers where the sword used to be.

I moved the sword to level 6 after a suggestion from someone who played the quest. It is a couple screens away from the Pan boss, on a screen with a Nymph (fairy).
