I'm fairly certain I've come across a few quests where the game over song was different from the default.

How is this possible?

Thanks.

There's no way to change it. You could redo the whole thing in ZScript, but then you couldn't use the standard death animation.

That pretty too bad to not be able to change the Game Over theme or stuffs for sure.

It is possible, but you would need to replace the internal MIDI files in zelda.dat, IIRC.

Some old 2.10 quests may have done that.

I did some of the work to allow this in future builds. We'll see how that evolves.

Replacing zelda.dat works, if you ewant a fully custom ZC package, or run in 'standalone' mode, but not for general quests.

If for some wacky reason you want to try that, I'll post instructions, but it's not a process that I advise without deep consideration.

A custom Game Over script is a better choice.

I like the sound of that.

And as for changing zelda.dat, I'll pass. Thank you for the offer, though.
