Well yeah, I may despise the classic tileset, but I've always wanted to make my own classic Link =). This is entirely custom, and I may update this, but I submitted it to the database and these are free for your use =). Enjoy them.

Not bad, dlbrooks. It resembles the Link from the Game Boy Zelda games. But, you didn't make any charging, holding, pounding, or diving sprites. And you didn't make any Link tiles with the Mirror Shield. Either way, keep up the good work on those custom Link sprites.

Those tiles you added look good. But you still forgot the charging sprites.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that there are no holding in water sprites, or a cast sprite!

Well, there are no more missing tiles now. And the way you drew some of them sort of reminds of GB Link. Especially the left and right walking sprites, the casting sprite, and the up and down slashing sprites. Perhaps you should compare them to your GB Link recolors.

Those look really good, I like the variation, you've really brought to life an old classic. I hope people use this Link for any classic quests they do. You should redo weapons/inventory classic style, I'm sure they would look neat.

Hmm... I'd say if you want to have that old style NES feeling but still make it look good then go with Dlbrooks. If you want a GB feel to it then go with Alestance's.

I still thing dlbrooks34's looks better than the original. The original was fat, square shaped, and always had his mouth hanging open.
