@ moonwhisper:
i thought about including some other items, but as a safe bet, i just stuck with PTUX's defaults. if you have some item suggestions, you can send them over to me, and i can always stick them into the extra_tiles.zip file, which is already brimming with stuff i cut out of the .qst file.
@ antonj3000:
yeah, i know map 1 is butt-ugly, but i'm afraid i won't change it. it's not about file size either (@ joe dirt). if you can look at any screen on map 1 and say to yourself, "hey, those are the colors i want to use in my quest!," then it's doing its job.
barring comments about map 1, did anyone find mistakes?
@ migokalle:
just remember this one word: beta. ^_^
----------
i uploaded a newer version today (july 5th). it includes a changelog file to keep track of the mistakes i've fixed.
My problem was that you took out a lot of PTUX's defaults...
Anyway, update? I'll check it when I manage to get home... or on this laptop.

I'd suggest everything from 07 and up.

Well ... maybe not the companion cube. o_O'
Also, why not put these trees into your tileset update?

@ zemious:
i've been thinking about replacing the trees (or graphics in general) that have some kind of color loss. maybe i'll find a way to get a few of those trees into my set, zemious.
@ moonwhisper:
you mean the swords and stuff? i'll try to replace those with the originals.
@ master maniac:
you can send them to me via PM.
@ russ:
glad you liked what you saw. i know the organization isn't perfect, but i think it's a little too late to do tile shuffling. if it's combos, i can fix those. i'll try to add the DoR trees, maybe not in the set, but as an extra tilesheet.

too many changes to list. here are some major ones:
- added extra dungeon csets from Orion LTTP and New BS
- added and expanded on some extra tile pages for extra_tiles.zip, most notably stuff from Orion LTTP
- redid the combos on page 150+ including door sets
- modified dungeon tiles to include 2x3 east/west bombable doors
- fixed a lot of combo mistakes
- lots of minor tile edits and additions
- drew a few sample screens for screenshot purposes
- updated documentation
download: pure_remembrance_b1.zip
also, on the first post, i changed the screenshots.

I might even use this to make a Quest.

Thanks for fixing the screenshots. That pinkness around the tiles just bugs me. It's 'cause I've been using PTUX for so long and whenever I place a Layer tile on Layer 0 by accident I get the shivers...
That's one reason I like DoR. The outline is black. But I agree with you on the pink. It startles me when I accidentally place them on layer 0 and they get that outline.

Akkabus, be sure to take a goooood look through PureZC's tile database, along with the midi section as well.
There are some really good sprites and midi's here.

@ zemious:
sadly, i'm trying not to add any more tiles into the set. in fact, i'm trying to see what tiles i can get rid of. the more tiles i add, the less manageable it becomes. i just want to fix the mistakes and release it since i'm getting tired/impatient of looking at it. =P
