Right now I have a problem where after the player saves at a save screen and goes to a different dmap instead of spawning at the save point they spawn at the first screen. any one know how to fix this?

What if you check the "No Continue here, after Warp" Flag on the first screen(s) of the "Neighbour" DMap(s)?
...unless Link should Continue there, for other reasons
