The ROSEMASTER demo is finally out!! You can download it here with the link below. It will come with the 2.55 Alpha 24 build, just load ZC and load the quest "RMdemo.qst" and you're good to go.

Here are some things to note:
- This demo will have four chapters and four main dungeons.
- This demo contains four magic containers and 16 heart container pieces. Making it possible to obtain 11 heart containers by the end of this quest.
- This demo contains three Super-Bosses known as the dragons. They are ridiculously powerful but will yield no beneficial prizes in this current demo. Battling them is completely optional.
- The trading sequence will end after you get the mirror.
- The Green and Purple Dungeons will yield no beneficial prizes in this current demo.
- In case there was a game-breaking bug. Feel free to use the cheat code "4" as you desire. The demo is also unpassworded and contains all the scripts used in the demo. But still, I hope you'll enjoy the entirety of the demo as always.

Very special thanks to all my beta testers and this demo couldn't have come to this quality if it weren't for them.

Also, check out Death Rider's stream of the demo. The demo posted here has some fixes to the problems you see in this play through though.

I really enjoyed the demo!  Unfortunately I got a crash on the Wizzrobe boss you have to hit with reflected magic, so I couldn't progress.  I'll play the full game when it comes out.

I really enjoyed the demo!  Unfortunately I got a crash on the Wizzrobe boss you have to hit with reflected magic, so I couldn't progress.  I'll play the full game when it comes out.

Glad you enjoyed it.

I am planning to change the boss, the crash is definitely a 2.55 problem. It must have been something with Wizzrobes and mirrors.

Through the end of level 1 now. This is looking like a very good quest :) Some feedback so far:

Aquamentus shoots lightmagic? Not any sort of fire?

The main mission is epic. And very ethical :D

I'm a fan on the spritework this time. Good job!

Great screen design and tileset choice.

F6 kicking you out of the game in cutscenes without warning is horrible, you should have scripts disable F6. (I can make you this, just lemme know how you want the set-up to be. By a DMap flag, a screen flag, or whatever).

Some push blocks randomly are Push Wait type, some aren't, even on the same screen.

The level 1 boss is wayy too hard, especially considering you have 3 hearts and he takes a lot of hits.

The story is well-done so far.

Thanks! I hope you'll enjoy it all the way through despite some minor bugs others have experienced.

I can easily change the Aquamentus sprite, so that can be an easy fix.

Yeah, push blocks and push wait blocks look exactly the same in the tileset I'm using, but I should be able to fix this.

I'll can make the first boss easier, too.

Dedicated F6 global scripts have become a thing over the last few days. I believe it's allowed to disable the F6 key in certain circumstances, which could include your cutscenes. Venrob's been adding and testing them, he could probably give you the details, maybe help set up an optimal one too.

Wow....All i can say is WOW....

 

This was so amazing I actually forgot I was playing a demo of the game until I got the message that the demo had ended.

 

I absolutely cannot wait until the full game has been released.

 

This quest was amazingly designed, scripted, and laid out.  

 

In my mind, once it is completed it will definitely rank as one of the top quests in all of the database
