I was wondering how much can be done with this thing. I tried to make another sword but I couldn't get the stab sprites and slash sprites to work. And when I picked it up it disappeared as soon as I tried to use it. Is this fixed in the newest build cause I'm still in 509.

And what other kids of items can be made? Can shields or more rings be made? I want to know the limits of this thing.

I have never been able to create a custom sword from scratch. Shields, however, can be made, and I'm 99% sure the same can be said about rings.

Cool. I wish swords could be possible though. Then there could be Excalibur in my quest.

I think you can make custom swords (And choose between them at all.) now. So long as you have more empty item classes, (In the subscreen editor, specifically.) you can. Meaning, if you only have one "Sword" Custom Class, then ALL of your sword class spots would indicate the latest sword that you've collected. You can, however, have non-sword class swords, given the properties of the sword class, and give them a custom z class. I do believe (Hope, actually. ) that it's then possible.

ST, that's pretty cool, but I was really talking about a Level 5 sword. >_< I've never been able to pul it off.

I've been making level 5+ swords since the first buld that let you choose stab/slash/sword beam sprites! O_o

How? I can't get the stab/slash tiles to work, let alone the sword.

You can make anything that doesn't require extra tiles like that.

Basically that.

I'm positive the item editor is in the 400 builds.

I know the item editor is in there, there was no way to make new tiles for the items though, like slash tiles for level 5 swords etc.

Should I upgrade to 529? Will it work good in that build?
