I've added a little drama to some of the quieter tracks, in particular Southern Shrine.
I imagine the first part where it's just the two voices to be when Link enters the shrine, and then the second part where it gets a bit more intense is when he's approaching and reading the stone reliefs that reveal the truth of Koholint.

Now if only I could write my own music and be satisfied with it

More tracks have been added to the Link's Awakening NSF.  All 8 main dungeons are complete.  I guess I've found motivation after all.

Ooh, cool. Stepping on my toes a little bit, but still cool :P

(Nah, I support any and all competition. We'd almost certainly never have done any LA rearrangements anyway)

I'll take a listen when I can. At the very least to the ones we've already done (so that I can't be accused of plagiarism :P)

Whoops, my bad.  I just wanted to share my work. Didn't even think about it seeming like I was trying to compete with you :P

Your arrangements are great.

Don't worry about plagiarism, my dude.  Make what you want.  I don't own the original soundtracks anyway :)

Nah, I was mostly kidding about competition and all that. It's always great to see how different people arrange things differently (for instance, the amazing ones Isabelle Chiming did on the NES Zeldas are very different stylistically to the stuff I and my brother make). There're plenty of arrangements of these on Youtube too, doesn't mean we can't do them. Still haven't had a chance to listen, but I'm looking forward to seeing(/hearing) what you do next!

Actually, to be perfectly honest, my inspiration for doing the ALttP soundtrack was the Master Sword jingle from Classic.nsf...

I first wondered if I could recreate it, then I decided to change it a little, then I thought "Might as well make the forest music", and it just kind of spiraled from there.  I got really into it and did 29 out of 31 tracks in one day... :nerd:

If anything, you should be accusing ME of plagiarism

I'd kill for that kind of motivation lol. I mean, I can get myself to do stuff, but 29 remixes in a day is impressive!

Finally gave these a proper listen and I must say I thoroughly enjoy these. I especially love what you did with Mabe Village and the overworld theme.

These are friggin' bangin', my dude. The Z4 arrangements are so snappy. Do you have any other stuff?

The nice thing about 'disabilities' is that they usually come bundled with super powers.

Hey, Im not sure you take requests, but it would be cool to see similarly enhanced VRC6 versions of the music from 5th.qst

Not likely to get an answer, but just throwing this out there.
