Just thought it'd be funny to have a thread dedicated to all manners of bootleg things.  China is, of course, the king of this category.  I mean look at some of these....

Has anyone here ever actually owned bootleg things?  If not, just feel free to share some of the ones you found through the internets.

I bet Vinny of Vinesauce would have something to say about that.

I once had a Hobbes doll, but I didn't know it was an illegal bootleg back then (due to Watterson's stance against lincensing). Good thing I ruined it during one of my temper tantrums.

I dabble in figure collecting, so I've seen (and owned) a few bootlegs. Some are definitely harder to tell than others. But one of my favorites is a bootleg series of the Attack on Titan Nendoroids.
For those who are not aware - Nendoroids are basically a figure line of chibi-fied versions of whatever character. The line is done by a few specific companies (usually Good Smile Company, but there are others) They come with swappable arms, legs, faces and usually have some neat accessories.

For reference, here's what the official merchandise looks like.

Aaaand then we have these things...

Not So Official Stuff

...I think it speaks for itself. :P I kind of find the bootlegs fascinatingly bad.

I also have a bootleg NES multicart. It was grandmother's originally and contained '700' games. (Many many many of them were repeats with slight graphical changes.) She apparently picked it up at a flea market a long while back when she was in Quebec. Interesting what you can find at those, ha ha.

There's a guy named Phelous who does a series called Bootleg Zones which focuses on all sorts of toys and games that I find pretty fun. I've seen a lot of these on there before. Robert Cop still might be my all time favorite, though.
