I was thinking about maybe writing a very basic "Subscreens 101" tutorial, since I can't seem to find one, anywhere, and it seems like subscreen design is a bit of a weak point for a lot of new people, specifically, how to use various elements on the subscreen, custom triforce items, new items and item order, and how to make new subscreens from scratch. But, before I start anything, I want to know if there would be a demand for it. And if so, what kinds of things do you guys feel are important to make sure I include?

Oh, hey, that looks pretty good. Never mind, then.

That tutorial is seriously out of date. I don't think any part of the subscreen editor crashes ZQuest any more. It doesn't go into detail on much, and it's entirely missing one of the more obtuse (yet useful) subscreen elements, life and magic gauge pieces.
Not to mention it's stickied in the Quest Design Help subforum where no one will ever find it. I think a newer tutorial that doesn't gloss over everything and includes images and such would be very worthwhile.

I don't see anything wrong with Davi's tutorial, but having another take wouldn't be bad at all. I'd say go ahead and give it a shot if you're interested.
