  • Boss Lock Block at 14:34:doh: D'oh!  Figures I'd miss something like that.  I think what it was was that I overwrote some Boss-Lock Block Copycat blocks with some Lock Block Copycat blocks and forgot to go back and assign any Boss-Lock ones...  Something I gotta' fix...  Thanks for finding it! :)  I don't know HOW I missed that.

  • Boss Lock Blooper - You know, I think you're right.  The second room down in the final corridor, I think I did intend for you to go around the long way.  :doh:  Another thing to fix...  Thanks! :)

About the Boss Lock Blooper, after looking at it in ZQuest, I realized I didn't intend for you to go all the way around; the distance you went was far enough for me.  I was only thinking of one screen at a time.

I finally got those two rooms fixed.

 

1. The code is there for the boss-lock copycat blocks to disappear. I'm not sure why it happened.  As a fix, I made it so the boss-lock block is already on the screen and just blocked by a lock-block copycat.

2. After re-studying the "blooper" room, I finally remembered that I originally wanted you to be able to go from unlocking the boss-lock block in the above room directly down to unlocking the boss-lock block in that room (instead of going back around as in the video).

 

Still working on the final update!  Hope to have this posted in the near future. :)

There we go.  It looks like the problem is fixed.  (Compare this with the same room in the playthrough to see the difference.)  Not sure why the boss-lock copycats didn't disappear on Pixcalibur's playthrough, since I'm certain I playtested it before, but hopefully this means it will work now.  The boss lock block is now two blocks down from where Link is in this picture. (As you can see, I unlocked it before this screenshot.)

 

Also, I'm working on a side project code-named "Lecret Sevel".  I hope to have it out soon!

Come to think of it, while Pixcalibur's let's play is comprehensive, what is the minimum items requirement for this quest? Although I recall the silver arrows and fire boomerang being mandatory (thus a large aid), I think you can skip all the heart pieces and containers.
