Poll: 2.53 scripts.

Should these scripts to be removed when updated to 2.55+ standards?

Should puzzle scripts have an option to have temporary secrets when solved?

Just started migrating from 2.53 to 2.55. Some work was simple, such as folder movement. But main task for me is updating all those scripts (100+ works) to match 2.55+ standards. Still one question remains: what should I do with older versions of database scripts that were tested in 2.53?

The 2.53 scripts should be kept, just like all other pre-2.55 scripts in the database.

If you update your scripts to accommodate new 2.55 constants, and you keep the old ones, you should bundle the old 2.53 scripts with the new ones (i.e. use updates and add the updated scripts to the zip file) instead of making new database entries. You could probably just move the old copies of the script to a subfolder within the zips named "old" or "2.53" or something like that.

Another thing is the fact, that after migrating to 2.55, all future features and bugfix updates will be 2.55 specific. If you found a bug in any of my scripts, report it in Comments section in approriate entry in database.

EDIT: another question. Should puzzle scripts have an option for temporary secrets. or it will be always annoying?
