I dunno if it's against the rules to advertise (I think it used to be once upon a time but there doesn't seem to be any current rule) but it's a game people here might be interested in. We'd really appreciate it if you gave it a look - even more so if you want to login and vote or leave feedback.

I suppose if all you do is advertise, then that's just kind of obnoxious, but if you're otherwise active and happen to every now and then mention that you're doing something, I'd personally think that was fine.
Not that I'm qualified to tell you about that.

On a skim, game looks decent. I do love the old JRPGs, so if this lives up to that, I'll be happy.
I may do the feedback stuff later when I have time.

Looks really good. Not much to say except that I enjoyed having stumbled upon this and spent a good chunk of time checking everything out. So, stuff's not going unnoticed. Looks like a job well done over all.

I do have to say the graphics look nice and colorful. My only complaint is the same pet peeve of mine I have with most games that call theirself 8-bit...this doesn't look anything like an NES, Master System or GBC game, lol. But I can let that slide if the gameplay turns out to be pretty good.

Yeah, we agreed early on not to bother sticking to nes constraints (except the palette), since it just looked better with more colours. I was initially arguing to keep it authentic but in the end this was the better move. Makes it a bit more unique-looking.

You know, you must have thought about this too and decided against it, but: shouldn't the characters face in the enemies direction in battle encounters?

I guess the dev wanted to show their faces? I actually didn't question it tbh.
