Moving back to my actual Zelda-based quest... second dungeon mostly done!
Once I get it and the other dungeon I've finished tested, I'll release a demo with them. If there are any details I can add to improve the aesthetic, let me know!

Thoughts other than the tree perspective?

Hmm. I might be mistaken but I feel like the custom tile additions are getting somewhat out of hand.

Well, there isn't much else I can do until that tile-set gets more things added to it.
One thing I wanna fix are the water decor, the bridge, and NPC's.

I can't get enough of the unique style. Looks good.
Yoshi: I think your map is nice. Your village area is the best IMO.

It's the once-great kingdom of Regalia, it all its entirety! I've been working on this for 8 months now.
(opening the image in a new tab will make viewing this a LOT easier, as its a gigantic image ;P)

I love the overall shape of this map. It looks really professional, and interesting to explore. What I mean to say, is bonus points for having a complete map that isn't a rectangle. Nice work, Matthew.

Submit to Map of the Month when
That's looking really incredible though. I especially like how natural the map shape looks, rather than having your general boxed map. Nice job with the details and design in each part too.

Thanks you guys! And yeah, I tried to avoid going for just a rectangle... I preferred giving myself all the screen space I needed to create what I could consider a complete area. Just one/two rectangular map(s) is pretty limiting imo...
The hardest part of this, though, is ensuring continuity between each map. You can't accidentally have any overlapping screens, which is easy to have happen due to the freeform nature of the overworld.
Anyways, I'm working on interiors and dungeons now. This quest should be complete in a few months (hopefully).
