Hey there! It definitely has been some time now lol. To answer the question about the cane, you got the Cane of Byrna.

As to where you can go next, you have to get the Master Sword before the Titan's Mitt. You also need 2 keys to get to the Master Sword, so you're halfway there with the keys.

Paths to both keys

Hmm... I got the key going up. I went left and that way was where I got stuck behind the Master-Sword-breakable block... I guess I'll go back that way and try defeating all the enemies in that room. (I'm almost certain I beat all enemies in the preceding rooms.)
Thanks!

Hey Eddy,

You're wrong.  It's not straight-forward. ...  You put tricky warps in many of the rooms!  I didn't catch on until a minute ago that "sometimes, backwards is forwards"!  (A clue like that would be helpful somewhere in the dungeon, but I'm glad I at least figured it out.  Was that clue in another dungeon I forgot about?  I forget since it's been a long time since I started the quest.)  I think you meant to say that it's "straight forward and backward"! :P

So yeah, I found the key, but it wasn't until I started typing a response here about not finding it that I finally realized where else I could check.    Go figure!  Good thing I remembered to use the Lens.

Edit:

Oh, and by the way, you forgot to put Lens hints in the room right above the room with the mini-boss guarding the Master Sword.  It threw me, so I backtracked and got confused.

Guess it might not be straight-forward, but it definitely looks like it on the editor (haven't touched this quest in a long time so I guess I didn't remember how complex it really was). I believe I did put a clue about the backtracking thing in the dungeon, it's mostly to do with the lens markers. If there's a lens marker in front of a door, it will take you to a new room, if there isn't, it will send you back to the start, so you kinda have to wander around with those. And yeah, good find with the mini-boss room, guess I accidentally left that one out...

Sorry for the mega confusion for this dungeon btw, the 3rd floor wasn't too well designed, I'll admit. Though there isn't too much left after that point, so I guess that's good :P

Having trouble with Level 8

Too much warping! *rages*

So I got to the third floor, and I got the Cane of Byrna, but I don't have the Lens. I used a key, but need a second key (AR1 and AR2 always have 2 locked doors in a row)

Stuck! Plz help

Also is this area (and this dungeon) meant to have zero music?

You are meant to download an external file which contains the music for those particular locations.

That said, I won't blame you for not having downloaded the music. I did not like either of the tracks for Level 8 or its area; I would suggest playing your own music.

Also, the Lens of Truth is in Level 7. Can't remember where it was, but you will have to look for it.

Ok, thanks. The dungeon music works, the track for the outside is glitched. I'll check around L7

Now that you have the Magic Key, go to the far left of the 2nd floor and head all the way down following the path to the upper floor. Continue through until you reach the switch to open a path. Then, go back towards the top-middle of the 2nd floor and then continue towards the right side of the 2nd floor, past the area where the Amulet was. There should be a whole set of lock blocks on the path towards the Boss Key (this should be fairly straightforward at this point). To reach the boss door, go back to where you found the Magic Key, and there should be a boss door on the left side of the screen just west of where the Magic Key was found. From there, it should be another straightforward path.
