[Aquamentus (Facing Right)]

I have a request.

I would like to have the original Zelda 1 overworld in my quest. A LOT of users use the original overworld in their quests. So can anyone with a quest with the overworld export the map and submit the file to PureZC somehow?  It would really help me out and probably other users as well.  It could be the map export file or the .qst file. But if it is a .qst, don't forget to unlock it!  

 

P.S.

I would prefer the quest to be in Zquest version 2.50.

In 2.1 there are quests files called Example 1rst or something that have an open password. I hope that helps.

Wait a second... NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Because the quest is in version 2.1, there is a different combo layout. Which means when I export then import into 2.50, I would have to go to EVERY SCREEN and replace ALL of the combos because they're all messed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DANG IT!!! DANG IT!!! DANG IT!!! DANG IT!!! DANG IT!!! DANG IT!!!

 

So if anyone else has anything for 2.50, that would be great. In the meantime, I'll be replacing all the tiles.

 

Thanks anyway, Nexas! It's better than finding a picture and recreating every screen!

I know there are no unpassworded versions of the 1st to 4th quests with 2.5 tiles (which I think is strange), but I suggest you could better open the 2.10 versions in 2.5 and save them to a 2.5 version (simply by saving them in 2.5). It would save you a lot of effort and you can easily import the new 2.5 tiles.

I know. But in 2.10 I don't have the default 2.50 combo sheet template thingy. I know I can change/make the 2.50 combos myself, but that would take a LONG time!   And if I just imported the 2.50 combos, every screen would have caves as mountains and top-left tree parts as water and stuff! So it would be a PAIN to go through every screen and click Replace All for every combo.

 

Wouldn't it be cool if/Is there some way you could just say replace, for example, every combo 57 with combo 92 for the whole map?

Well, you could use the swap feature in the combo page to swap the combos. Open up the combo page, select a combo, press 'c' and then click on the combo you want to swap with.

 

Also you could then use the 'move' feature in the combo page to move the combos in the combo page to there correct place. Select a combo in the combo page, press 'c', then click a empty combo you want to move your combo to, do the same with the swapped combo, and move the combos where you want them.

Thank you for reminding me that I could do that!!!
