This is a really diverse and interesting week. I'm loving all of these screens.

 

Joelmacool12 - Purple tree 0/5. This is a really neat DoR shot. It looks really cool for a plains and the detail here is pretty good, though some details seem a bit too random, but that's probably just me.

 

DaLink - Woah, this is one hell of a classic shot. Detail is really gorgeous and the whole screen in general looks really nice. My only issue would probably be those clouds. Clouds like that would probably suit a high mountain better than a forest, mostly because they would make you feel high up in the air... unless this forest is as tall as Death Mountain lol

 

Shane - This is a really beautiful shot. It feels like you're about to venture into a mountain full of snow. I really do like that all-in-one palette and I would love to explore in a place like this. Great job.

 

bmc10011 - Looks interesting. The whole monochrome style feels like a flashback of the GB games which is a pretty cool effect, though I'm not really sure what's going on with those chickens and Tarins in a place like that lol Besides that though, it looks like an interesting screen.

 

Overall, it was very close between Shane and DaLink, but I'm probably going for Shane this time round. Good job guys!

hmm... is that a blue yeti? my vote may go there for that reason alone. decent week, but they are kind of dull shots. I like the first three enough to vote for one of them, but I have not decided which.

Voted DaLink. Since my first quest is using instrumentality (which is like classic) I enjoy seeing screens that display creative ways of using the old tileset.

The black borders on the snow are too much, Shane. You could just try the grass tile in snow colors with the snow texture, I think that would look better. Or at least make the black outlines less... black.

Getting techy with the overlayes is something that is an extra bonus key with my vote here.*
