I was tinkering around with the Ring class items for balancing, and was curious if there was a way to create a 3/4 damage Ring, where normal damage is one heart, you'd take 3/4ths instead. The overall structure of the quest this is for still would have the 3 Rings, but with each ring only being worth half of their normal value, Blue= 3/4, Red= 1/2, and Gold=1/4. I tried using 1.333 in the item editor, but it didn't have any real effect beyond the palette swap.

Start with a 2 divided ring, and have each next ring be 3, 4, and 8. Then double the damage of all enemies,

I think that I may have fixed this in 2.53. I know that I did, in 2.54. (Negative values are now legal, not decimal; although that may be possible later.)

Edit: it is only in 2.54. Sorry for any confusion. Ill try to fix the Item Editor to permit decimal values, too.
