I am working on a script and would like to request a way to elevate any combo.

Perhaps it could be called combodata->Elevated?( a boolean attribute)

I am working on a sand rod similar to in ALBW and this would simplify the process.

Short of this getting added, could someone explain a way to feign elevation?

Feigning elevation via script is really easy. All the crystal block combos do to achieve the effect is set Link->DrawYOffset to -8. A combo script could check if Link is colliding with it and do the same.

If we're talking feature requests though, it'd be nice to be able to set the pixel offset for crystal blocks as an attribute. They've got a height attribute so you can make ramps of them, but the draw offset being constant makes it looks a little strange.

I'm trying around a lot, with elevation and even flying stuff in overhead screens
...so I'm following, cause this topic is very intressting, to me.

They used to be variable, and it led to me making a demo of a quest with real height and stairs using it (granted, it was a giant pain in the ass to set up); Emily wasn't happy with how she programmed the variable height for some reason, so she canned it and made it constant.

That seems... rather odd. If she was unhappy with how it was done, why not just do it differently?
