Fire Gleeoks even.  And ice, lightning, and "King" with all three elements.

We also have Like Likes, with elemental and rock variants, thankfully they are now permanently attached to the terrain and cannot chase you.

And finally the Gibdo has been re-imaginied as a moth-like monster, with a pwerful queen.

Yes, I love battling Gleeoks. They are fun minibosses for me now that I'm used to them.

Now, I know we didn't get Dodongos in this game, but I consider the Frox enemies like discount Dodongos. Sure they don't breath fire, but you can drop a bomb in their gullet to stun them and they're just as big and hulking. So, I'll count them as a spiritual successor.

EDIT: Dang! Page topper AGAIN!

The only reasonable explanation is that he got voted off the island.

So, I beat this a week ago, keep thinking about it lol. Just, like, what a great game, and what a great final section. Not all perfect, of course (way too many blessing shrines for my taste), but overall, a wonderful experience.

That's all I wanted to say.
