Created a few sprites and palettes, nothing too fancy.

This was yesterday, but I feel it still counts.

 

Forged together two scripts (one from Lejes and one from Moosh) along with some work of my own to create a functional Botwoon (the giant snake from Super Metroid) that behaves reasonably similar to the original.

 

Despite my trepidation that this was impossible, it actually turned out to be relatively easy and worked exactly as I intended. Either I'm getting better at scripting, or my skill at combining things that others have done is improving.

Started work on something (not for the random quest contest)... got a bit of the overworld done and got the first dungeon completed.

 

Let's see if I can actually finish this

Completed more work on that one quest today. Progress is going quite smoothly! Level 2 is done and next up is to start Level 3.

 

I might also begin to work on that random theme quest real soon before I run out of time (aiming to make it a miniquest at best)

You say this is a town? There's only three houses... Perhaps add some more to make it feel more populated. Also, the house in the top left corner looks a little out of place.

To be fair, he did say "so far". This isn't the completed product yet

Started work on my Random Quest Contest entry today after being 2 days late to the party.

 

Kinda went overboard with the intro of the quest, and turned it into some kind of London Underground Simulator Either way, 2 screens done, plenty more to go...

Started working on my quest again, after a few months. I started off with designing my sixth dungeon, a swamp palace that has no final name yet:

Seeing how this quest is a remake and all, this is an easy improvement over the lazy design I initially had in the original quest, where I just filled most of the rooms with flat water and some hookshot grabs.
