Anyone else wonder why a few select stages in this game have larger level markers? I've often wondered about this, and have looked around the internet, and came to the conclusion that no one really knows why some seemingly random levels are bigger. Some people suggest it means the stage is longer, and some others suggest that it means (in a red level) that the exit is not a keyhole, but a separate goal post, but both of these aren't consistent.
What do you think they mean? My personal theory is they are left over from an earlier time in development, and may have had a purpose, but then that changed, but they got left in the game likely cause the game was rushed slightly, or they could have just missed it.
Or it's completely meaningless, but it just looks odd.
