GameMaker is a program to create games easily.

It looks really nice, but the thing that bugs me the most is the bottom mountain edges ... they should be more rounded then boxy. Another thingy you could do is make some path edges, so that it naturally blends into the ground around it.

Together with what SerpitaX said, you should also be non-lazy and make the mountains for every ground type. Those things are missing in GB Zelda games too. Very little use of detail in the actual tiles.

The project seems fine, as long as you do everything to improve it to the max, you will get a well deserved 5/5 from me in the database, if it ever get released.

Time for a Change Log......
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

-Finished combo's for overworld. I am quite pleased with the tiles.
-Enimies are almost have done
-Items ( As in actuall items and equipment ) are comleted. Then I have to add other, enimy projectiles...ect
-ONly a few more overworld palettes are nedded to be fixed and completed. Added house palettes
- Added House sets ( Which isnt LTTP, its MMDWR regular house. With some more stuff added and minor edits to make it look Zelda-ish.

As always, I added a screenie.....100 points if anyone can name this screen!

Well thats it for now. Please, if you read this and thought anything as feedback, I would like to hear it. ( I keep double posting )

...Forgot to say, at the rate I work on this, ( .50% a day or so, I should be done around..lets say, April 2009? )

The perspective is a little bit wrong with those palm trees...

Fixed Palm trees. Only one or two more tiles and the overworld is complete.
Also made the subscreen.

I've wanted to use Newfirst, but it is way outdated. This is totally kickass Lord Ike. Now, I see this being used quite a bit, since people use Pure to make quests in a semi-simple fashion, now they will be able to have something just as easy to use, yet up to date, and fashionable! Spectacular! icon_wink.gif

Agree with Angeal, this is looking really cool.

BTW, what the heck was the error in your first screens? I found nothing else that was already stated icon_aggravated.gif.

@ Angeal- Thank you. You just explained my main goals to achieve with this tileset.

@ T. Platinum- The grass combo that appeared was unwalkable.

....ps, well, the screen that was latest posted was of........think quest, first.

I seen the problem the moment I looked at the screen. Quite easy to see quickly. What's the current percentage done on this?

Hmmm.....Which screen? the old one that T. Platinum was talking about? or the new one?

I'd say........about 42% With a .50 % or so ratio of work bieng done. But, everyone mark my word, I should and will be done before April of next year.

Well, it wasnt the mountain error or white trunk. Look at the selected combo.

Buuutt.....Who here wants a beta? You would see alot of progress and changes.

A beta would be good. I'd like to see what this all has in store for us. Didn't really check the combo. *looks* icon_lol.gif Gives new meaning to "Don't walk on the Grass!"

Nah, I fixed though, so darnit, there will be grass walking.
This build (2) Is WAY better than the old one. Heck, the overworld is basically built sooo....You could get ready and master it.
Please use build 899. The newest.
