Using the Windows-x64 version of Alpha 111, I started a non-custom first quest and played to completion. Upon starting the second quest after getting the wooden sword, I noticed that the sword swing animation is glitched. Link seems to be trying to swing the sword in an arc rather than thrusting it straight out like in the original game, which causes visual errors. Oddly, this did not happen at all on the first quest, although for the entirety of the first quest the quest icon was incorrect and had Link carrying a shield rather than just the basic sprite. After selecting the Force-reload Quest Icons option in the launcher the icon fixed itself. Not sure if this has anything to do with the sword animation bug.

I also tried moving the save to 2.53 to see how it would behave there but for some reason only the first quest file showed up in the selection screen and I had no heart containers so Link immediately died upon loading the file.  But I figure this probably just has more to do with lack of compatibility for saves between different versions.

Some other bugs I've noticed other with Alpha 111 during my playthrough of the basic quests:

  1. I mentioned above that at some point the save icon changed to an incorrect one.  This seems to always happen after getting the blue ring and then saving.
  2. Bombs do not appear in your inventory immediately after picking them up for the first time and only appear after you move to the next screen.  In previous versions as well as in the original game, if bombs are the first item you pick up, they appear as your B-button item immediately.
  3. Upon beating the game, Zelda refers to you as "Hero" instead of whatever you entered as your filename.  Presumably this is meant to be the behavior she defaults to if the filename is null for whatever reason.
  4. For the first quest in a basic file, looking at the file info correctly displays the playtime, but upon that file becoming a second quest file, the time stays as Time Unknown.

@anticitizen_one

1. I created my own custom 1st & 2nd quest (virtually identical to the official 1st & 2nd quest using recent 2.55 alphas), I didn't experience this issue at all.

2. This actually is not a bug, I also thought the same thing, when testing my own quests, then I learned the solution; Do not load a saved game, instead create/start a new game save from scratch and bombs will populate upon pickup instead of the next screen.

3. I don't get this issue on my custom1st quest, but I do have this issue on my custom 2nd quest (weird)

4. I never figured out how the saved file of a 1st quest turn's into a 2nd quest saved file, how do you do this? afterwards I help you troubleshoot this time known issue.
