I am beginning work on updating and fixing this quest. I have gained better knowledge of the DoR tileset and believe I can make this quest actually be great. Please leave your ideas here in this thread for me to look over.

This update will feature a completely rebuilt Overworld and Dark World.
Many bugs will be squashed; Hopefully all of them.
More enjoyable playing experience.
Redoing ALL enemy placements; biggest examples will be no more Fire Gleeok guarding needed treasures, No Splitting Darknuts guarding early upgrades and early game treasures. These enemies will only be used for later game things and finds.
ACTUALLY going to have story and progresssion instead of just "Hey, do what ever and hope you get somewhere!"
Dungeons will be checked and adjusted for relative difficulty and playability; Dungeon order will become more open for how one would like to play.
New design techniques will be tried out and employed.
Heart Pieces will change most of the heart container gets in the quest.
Plenty of other things to come...

Oh wow. So, after much procrastination, this is finally being worked on again.

Sorry if this counts as "Gravedigging" or what the term is, but this is what I'm doing for and with this quest now.

~The overworlds (Dark + Light) will be re-modeled, not completely rebuilt like previously mentioned.
~New areas will be added to make the worlds feel less small. This includes new dungeons and general areas such as a forest or a proper beach.
~I remember a few specific complaints about overuse of midis for caves; this will be fixed, and I know how much it needs diversity.
~Heart Pieces. The past version(s) of this quest featured the very simple Heart Container gets from the OG Legend of Zelda. This quest will hide Heart Pieces enough to match the amount of Heart Containers originally hidden in the worlds.
~Enemy re-balances. Too many difficult enemies early- on is an understatement. I am not considering a "Hard" mode with this update, as I just want the less-familiar crowds to not get frustrated and quit playing.
~Writing an actual story for the quest. Dialogue will be added, old will be changed, I will try and add cutscenes and give the player direction for their goal.
~Tweaks. Can't say much as this is a touch, observe, and go kind of thing.
~In the quest bio, I mention a prequel and a sequel to this quest.They are far away in time's sake. I have many other projects I've been working on in ZC and they take priority. After they are released, then a prequel and sequel will be considered.
~The new areas will likely be up to 8x8 for screen count, but not guaranteed; some will be larger or smaller depending on design direction and general choice.
~General tile usage is barren (Ex: No floor borders in the dungeons.) A lot of detail will be added. Caves included, dungeons are a priority.

This is all for now. I hope to get another text update out as I progress with working on this update. Thank you if you were waiting for something to be said about this quest. And thank you in general.

Major progress point obtained!

~Current dungeons, caves and present worlds are now fully re-modeled to how I wanted them to be. Now that this is done, I will now be focusing on building the new areas. These are finalized to be a Lakefront, a Forest, a Desert, and a "Depths" World.
~As the new areas are being developed, so will the four new dungeons that will be present. These are named: Lakefront Temple, Forest Shrine, Desert Chambers, and the Black Halls.
~Heart pieces are being hidden around using some of the old spots where you'd get a heart container, and plenty are being hidden in new places as well.
~Friendly warning that I am planning to make at least one (Maybe two if I want to be a bit mean) of these new dungeons while following the theme of backtracking. An example is that you could do part of one dungeon, but the needed item to finish it is in another dungeon. ~ I did this in Link's Rise 2 with Level 5 if I recall.

This is everything accomplished so far. I will update again when I believe substantial progress has been made.
