Hello all,

I'm new here and really looking forward to trying some of these quests, but I don't really understand the launching process of ZC/ZCL. Regardless I am trying to add Zelda Classic to LaunchBox. I found some information about the commandline switches

Format:
zelda-* -standalone <quest> -savefile <save>

I think I got quests launching but I don't know what I am supposed to enter as the savefile. I found a zc.sav I tried to use but no matter what I put after the -savefile switch I can't get the error

"This savefile can not be used in standalone mode"

Can anyone help me figure out the proper commandline to launch quests? I am using v2.53 build 33 on Windows10

Thanks

Pretty much anything you want. It just needs to be different for each quest, and it can't be an existing, non-standalone save. Probably the easiest thing to do is use the quest filename with a .sav extension.

ZC creates the specified save file, or zc.sav by default, if it doesn't already exist. Whether it's a standalone save is determined when it's created. A standalone save file can be converted to a regular one, but not the other way around.
