TriMaster gets my vote, though I'm not crazy about his torches. [shameless plug] Perhaps you'd like the ones from CoD's tileset? [/shameless plug]

What kind of torches are you takin about?

A grass screen would have more detail, but none of them have good detail in snow. To me, leaves don't make sense to be on the snow: should be under the snow. icon_razz.gif Then, tall grass doesn't work, nor grass detail, since.... it's snow. icon_razz.gif

It would of been nice to add cool snow effects.

That I'm aware of, DoR doesn't have any, and I'm not so sure I'll be tweaking it alot for my needs. icon_shrug.gif

Why don't use the DOR sand effects as a base and edit it to look like snow?

To do that, you'd have to edit the palette substantially... the SD3 sand doesn't really mesh well with the snowy palette. Now, if you wanted some cool snow, Golden Sun had some kick-arse powder.

icon_lol.gif at that, because in SD3 the sand/sandy mountains actually double as snow/snowy mountains. Seriously, it can't be THAT hard tl make them fit icon_shrug.gif

Already been fixed.. sort of. I didn't edit the palette before submitting (curse my laziness!) but a better version is here. I also made the screen better as a whole... gah. Five minutes of extra work and this screen would've been INFINITELY better.

Yes, the shot does look way better... but I still wish you didn't cut a shade from the mountains, as Xavier said, they don't look that great without it icon_confused.gif

My vote goes to Ebola. There's just something about the bland colors that I like.

Pointed out cherry style. I don't like those style of torches. Just a personal preference, really. I replaced them in CoD's tileset, which can be found in my sig. An example of said torches are here.

IPB Image There's a big version also, though I don't have a screenshot of it.

Dude. icon_razz.gif You don't get it. The "cherry style" reference was in regards to how I circled your screenshot. It looks like cherries.

Sall.

Anyway. Enough about that. No prob if you don't like my stuff. It's your quest.
