Bad idea: Exorcising almost every day. (What kind of demon-infested place do you have to live in for that to be a regular occurence? )

 

Good idea: Writing a book.

Bad idea: starting to write a book, but working on-and-off on it for a decade, finishing two drafts in five years, then deciding to rewrite and eventually realising your plot is based on characters doing a lot of illogical things, so you have to either make that a feature and spend a good while justifying people's dumb actions or just throw out the plot.

 

Good Idea: Knowing when to hold 'em and knowing when to fold 'em
