How do I get a compiled ffc script to be applied to a DMap?

You don't. FFC scripts are run per screen, through a Freeform Combo placed on the screen which runs starting when the FFC is loaded until the script quits or Link leaves the screen.

 

For events that persist at all times, you want to use the global script.

You can set the FFC flag "Carry-Over" to make the FFC follow you from one screen to the next. The script will keep running, but it will be paused while the screen is scrolling.
It will also follow you through warps, though, so it's not limited to one DMap. If you set the "No FFC Carryover" screen flag, any FFCs following you will stop when you go to that screen.
