It only took 219 hours. Can't wait for the 2nd game, then the 3rd...

Probably the hardest boss Arc Sys Works has made. His AI, priority and speed are absolutely insane. He also heals damage he deals to you at a 1:1 ratio WITHOUT combo scaling, coupled with a passive regen of about 1000ish life a second (or something like that?). Way harder than the Arcade Mode version due to the RPG-mechanics in Grim of Abyss Mode and his stats being absolutely crazy across the board (My level 99 character spec'd for ranged damage only barely outdoes his ranged damage stat and he has like 1 projectile total), giving him insane offense and defense on top of his lifesteal.

I don't know what any of those words mean, but they sound impressive. :heh: Nice job!

Not too much to report lately, but I'll go ahead anyway:

* I made it to X rank in all four ranked modes of Splatoon 2. The initial threshold for rank X was being in the 99th percentile of players. I'm sure the number who qualify has expanded a lot since the mode was introduced, but I'm still happy. :) I play the Foil Flingza Roller, which is used very scarcely in X rank. Only about a dozen of the top 10000 players use it. My ratings have placed me around the 20000th-15000th highest (for users of any weapon), so I wager I'm one of the top 30 in the world with the Foil Flingza Roller. That's cool!

* I exceeded a VR of 10000 in both Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. (I was well on my way to 20k in the first game.) This happened a while back, but I don't think I've mentioned it.

EDIT:
* As of 2/9/19, I've made it to Elite Smash in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate using Pikachu, which theoretically means I'm in the top 3% of online players. I'm taking a break from Pikachu for a while so I don't immediately drop out. :) The good news is that Pichu plays pretty similarly.

Wow that sucks, I was planning on doing that tomorrow. Well at least the game is coming out fairly soon. If theres someone to blame for this, isnt it Gamestop?

I decided last summer that I wanted to use Pokémon Bank to collect a live Pokédex. I spent several weeks migrating Pokémon from every generation using the transporter (a lengthy process for games like RSE and FRLG).

Last week, I finally finished it. It took a long time to gather all the Pokémon I had, and even longer to collect the ones I was missing...But I used a spreadsheet to keep track of all the Pokémon I was missing, what game to obtain them in/where to find them, and finally I did it!

I'm super pumped. It's so dorky, but it's really cool to see all of the Pokémon I have from different play throughs all in one place. I finished it just days before the announcement of Sword and Shield, so I'm pretty pumped to work on the next Dex later this year.

One small complaint is Pokémon Bank doesn't actually register that I've completed every Pokédex, because no one game has all the data. I did a lot of egg hatching on Sun/Moon and, since there's no National Dex, there's no Pokédex data to share with Bank. I can't even transfer them all to XY or ORAS because most of them have been on Sun and Moon and can't travel backwards. :blah: Oh, well.

Earlier today I beat a rom of A Link to the Past. It was one of those Zelda games I've tried to get into many times but never could until now. I did end up really liking it. It really feels like the Zelda that set the foundation for things to come.

As far as the 2D Zelda's are concerned, I may possibly still like Minish Cap more, though that could also be nostalgic bias. Its been a while since I've played it.

Later today I also coincidentally beat another Zelda game, which was Breath of the Wild. Obviously with this one it's so good that I'm still going to play it long after the ending.

I slammed in two aces during a semi-sober Arnold Palmer/Bourbon-fueled warmup round of The Golf Club 2 at Little Brook Manor last night.

Watch the throne: I have left my working-poor lifestyle behind, and have ascended into the position of King of the Country Club.

Finished off Ori and the Blind Forest this morning, with 100% completion.

Just jumped into the Will of the Wisps as well.

I finished Zelda 2 for the first time yesterday. It was on a NES Classic I got a rummage sale over a week ago.

Today, I beat LOZ's Second Quest. It was slow-going and frustrating, at times, but I did it! :D

(For the record, this was on the recent Zelda G&W thing.)
