"Well, well, well...if it isn't the so-called "Protector" of Entell. I would be giving you a warm welcome and applaud you for getting this far, but that would entitle you a dip in the lava before you, now wouldn't it? You may have stopped my coming to your world, but yet here you are in mine. What do you intend to do? 'Finish me off'? ...Do you even realize you're treading on MY world now? If you're so bold, climb to the aerie of this tower...then we'll see if you truly are a 'hero'."

Working on one project for too long is draining, so here is a screenshot from an old area of mine, Slumber Shades.

Deep within the ruins of a lost city of an ancient civilization, forgotten by most of Hyrule, lies a dormant stone untouched for over 500 years. Even as Ganon's minions dig up the site in their hunt for the golden power, none dare touch the crystalesque stone, almost as if scared by an old power dwelling withing. As Link explores the ruins of the Lost City of Leo, he spies the stone, and senses the 1/8th of the golden power behind it, something that Ganon's minions missed in their rush to get away from the stone. Feeling almost... guided, somehow, he notches a silver arrow into his bow, and fires at the crystal.

Suddenly, an aura of power came surging from the stone, a sphere of sudden life. The power of the stone flows through the ruins as the earth quaked beneath Link's feet. The walls of the temple started morphing, looking more... "younger", somehow, as strange glyphs became visible one them. As the City continued shaking, Link felt an odd feeling, a dizziness of some kind. Unbeknownst to him at the time, the City of Leo had burst from the earth, and was sent skyward. Link glances at the ground, and notices part of the floor was missing, only the Hylian sky below him. Glancing at the Time Stone, he no longer felt the power of the Triforce behind it.

What truly is this place, and can Link find the Triforce in this world of clouds, in the flying technological fortress of the Lost Leo City?

Twilight-Prince - Looks like a pretty nice shot overall, I like what's going on here. Atmosphere is pretty dark and spooky and that's an interesting villain sprite you have there.

Cukeman - This is really cool, I like how you changed up the mountains so they have a different perspective. It took me a little while to get it at first though, I'll admit, but I think the end result looks really nice. Also loving those waterfalls, that looks really cool.

xanadude - Pretty cool shot here, I assume the blue arrival square probably shouldn't have been taken with the rest of the screenshot, but that's a really minor thing lol. I like forest areas like this a lot, so this is pretty nicely done for a simple tileset.

Shoshon - This also looks really nice, I guess this is kind of like an oasis area. A couple minor things though, there's a tile error on the far left where the top of the mountain is inconsistent with the rest of the tiles. Also, it's a bit weird how the water tiles change their border outlines. I'd probably keep it all to one outline IMO. Good work anyway.

Dimentio - This is also really good. Detail and theme are very nice and I Shane's cloud tiles definitely make this look cool. Looking forward to seeing how this comes along.

I voted for Cukeman this week, but it was quite a close one for me.

Special shout out to Cukeman for posting a screenshot! I don't think I've ever seen a screen of yours, and this does not disappoint. Really nice waterfalls. :D

The others are cool, but do they have sideways waterfalls? I didn't think so.

Twilight-Prince- Nice work on the staging and ominous mood

Cukeman- New bushes, sideways waterfalls, and edited grass. Mountain tops acting as borders to denote where you can't cliff-jump down. Oh- that's my screenshot

xanadude- Nice work on the transparency. Feels pretty tranquil

Shoshon the Elegant- Really digging the environment here. Agree with Eddy's pointers

Dimentio- You've got a pretty nice sky fortress setting going on here. I'm curious to know why only some of the wall runes are lit up

Special shout out to Cukeman for posting a screenshot! I don't think I've ever seen a screen of yours...

I used to be pretty active in the SotW/Rebirth/Challenge Accepted topics, but that was a few years ago (before uni).

Thanks for the kind words folks!

Twilight-Prince: Looks nice. Makes me interested in playing.

Cukeman: Love this perspective with classic. The sideways waterfalls look a little off to me. Like disconnected from the mountain. It may look better animated though. But I might recommend a white bubbling animation between the water and the mountains.

xanadude: Nothing wrong with it. Other than the arrival square. It just doesn't match up to the others imo.

Shoshon the Elegant: Yeah. I think I need to edit those top left "mountains to look more like a cliff.

Dimentio: Looks beautiful. I want to explore this.

I went with Dimentio. It was really close between his sky shoy and Cukeman's creative classic perspective. Close enough that I am still flip flopping.

The reason there is an arrival square is that the transparency is bugged when you play it but looks fine on zquest.

Mine excluded, I like where Dimentio's gone with his. Good job~

Also, ironic how my villain sprite got an upgrade after I submitted my shot. Oh well~
