I have a program whose icon is a small graphic, a thin shape at a 45 degree angle. You can only click on the slender shape to open it, not any of the white space around it. Stupid bad design. That's all, just had to complain about that.

Change the icon?

What O/S are you using? Iirc all versions of Windows have a fixed size for the collision box regardless of icon graphic size.

Your Finder and/or desktop preferences should have a slider for icon size, you might try turning that up a bit.

Could you screenshot it for us? I'm curious what it looks like.

Here it is, you can see it highlighted on the right. The only clickable areas are the blue parts of the key and the text block (the text itself and the area highlighted in blue). It just really annoys me if I click inside the ring of the key, or between any of the blue parts of the key and nothing happens. It just bothers me, why couldn't the whole white space around the key be clickable?
