Does anyone know of any good free programs to edit videos with? I am wanting to make some videos but I don't know what to use. I don't want something super technical but at the same time, I'm not inept at stuff like this. Any suggestions would be appreciated : | Thanks so much!

Well, I know it's not really that much, but Windows Movie Maker hasn't let me down. Granted, it's very limited compared to most programs, but it is free. All of the videos I uploaded were edited in there. But if you're looking to edit videos in 60fps, look elsewhere, because WMM only supports 30fps video. Still, you should be able to make at least 1080p30 videos with it.

I use VSDC. It's a little cryptic to learn, but just as functional as a paid video editor.

If someone doesn't have Windows Movie Maker already, they're gonna have a hard time tracking it down. Windows Essentials is no longer supported as of this past January and is no longer downloadable from MS.

If you have Windows 7, it might still be there.

If you have an HP computer with Windows 10 pre-installed, you should have PowerDirector on it for free. It's not the completely full version, but chances are, you aren't gonna use the full features. It is much, much more powerful than WMM, however you probably only have it if you have an HP PC, and to download it you would have to pay.

Is that open source? I'd be interested in seeing a list of good open source video editor programmes.

'Icecream video editor' software is very easy to edit video for beginners. When I was first started to edit video I have wored with it.

But if you want to edit professionally the I would recommended iMovie is one of the best video editing software, Now I am using this. Or you will try out this page

best video editing software. 'Filmora 9' I also have used. If there is any problem to edit video, you can personally mail me.

Thank you,
