Haven't seen that section in this thread =/ Dungeons are uniquely different compared to the overworld such as making the dark room with torches it might look good but won't help the 'dark feeling' through blue flames might spice the evil dark dungeon. Square can look good in the default set but not anywhere else.

I have had it with all this talk of sections, this will stop immediately!

Otherwise I will tell your mum. How about that, MATE?!

I have to disagree, honestly- I've always been better at designing overworlds than dungeons, and I think comparing overworld design to dungeon design is like comparing apples to carrots. I chose not to say oranges because oranges are fruits as well.

Firstly, I just want to say that I am really disappointed. I did not expect to be disagreed with today, and I find this distressingly distressing. Secondly, I would also like to add that oranges are absolutely not fruits, I don't even know why you and your kind keep spreading those lies but you have to stop. Oranges are natural evolutionary bombs created by the lizards who intend to destroy us, and every time a person eats one a child dies in africa. Because they needed that orange.

Stop spreading lies, alien! Go back to the dark side of the moon!

Yeah, I've developed my own little guide to dungeon design in my head after becoming more involved with it. Other than a few of the "unforgivable" design offenses, I would say it is very different to OW design. Maybe I'll get around to writing up a guide on my ideas sometime, but my main point is that dungeons are man made where as OW is nature. This leads to many different design philosophies and even makes something as taboo as symmetry necessary in my mind.

D'awww...I wanted to give this a good read but all of the broken images were a turn-off for me. Now that I mention it, a lot of images on this site are broken for me across all of my devices. Why don't people ever use more dependable image hosting like Sta.Sh?

Maybe they delete them after a while? :)

EDIT That whole site with the images in the OP seems to be deleted...

Kinda really surprised something like this hasn't been fixed yet, considering this is a stickied topic. Perhaps I could help make new terrible screens to show what not to do?

I fixed it five weeks ago, don't know what's wrong but it is on your end.

In other news, I would like to announce that I am once again developing The Hylian Phoe--- it's canceled again, the pizza just got here.
