Heyyyyy. So last time I was on here, somebody posted a link to a website that when you type in a word(seed) it generates a midi for you. But I can't seem to find that post. Can someone help me?

Here's the one I used to use. Randomly generated MIDI is going to sound harsh, robotic, and even bad, though. So use at your own risk.

This is only tangentially related, but it's possible to convert NES audio NSF files to MIDIs with a program called NSF2MIDI (the link goes to the site Zophar's Domain, which also has a large library of NSFs to work with).

The Japanese version of the program produces slightly better sound in my opinion, so it's worthwhile to get both the Japanese and English versions, figure out what menu command does what from the English version, then perform the operation in the Japanese one for better final results.

That sounds interesting and useful. But when I downloaded it, it won't open the NSF file. :(
