Under the Cheats section in Quest, I see cheats from Level 1 to Level 4, and a code next to them. Cheats Enabled is checked, and the codes are left as the default. Can anyone explain what this means? What do the levels of codes do?
EDIT: Sorry, I figured it out myself. If anyone comes here with the same question, here's what I discovered:
You can set a code for each of the four level of cheats from the ZQuest editor. If you type in the codes into the "cheats" section of Zelda Classic, it will unlock options to instantly refill counters, or give certain items or equipment on the spot. Higher codes allow greater access, with the highest ones allowing you to get whatever items you want, teleport to screens at will, and easily break the game. The level one code seems sufficient for most players who just want a bit o' invincibility.
I feel like quite the doofus for not discovering this and using it when testing my quest ...
